Weekly Quant Puzzles
Question #1 - Discrete Math
You are playing a 2D game where your character is trapped in a 6 × 6 grid. Your character starts at the top left part of the grid represented by point (1, 1), and can only move down and right. There are two power-ups located at (2, 3) and (4, 6). How many possible paths can your character take to get to (6, 6), such that it collects at least one power-up?
Quote of the Week
“The worst thing one can do, especially late in a paradigm, is to build one’s portfolio based on what would have worked well over the prior 10 years, yet that’s typical.”
- Ray Dalio
For Quant Puzzles. I think there is a typo. The character should be move up and right instead of down and right.
